Charlotte is the place to be in June with a number of major artists, festivals, and fun activities happening throughout the month.

Here is Livin’ Charlotte’s pick of events.

6/3-12: Eat Black Charlotte Week
Where: participating restaurants 

A week of pre-fixed lunch and dinner options from Black-owned restaurants in the Charlotte metro area.  Here’s where you can find some good eats

6/4: Seltzer World Festival
Where: 200 East Bland Street

Enjoy this one-of-a-kind immersive experience as you sample 100+ variety of seltzers. The event is pet friendly, there will be DJ spinning, food trucks, local vendors, craft artisans, entertainment and more.

6/4: Spring South End Wine and Hops Fest
Where: Lenny Boy Brewing Co. (3000 S Tryon Street)

The 8th Annual Spring South End Wine will feature wonderful wines, cider and brews paired with live music. Your ticket includes all day sampling, souvenir tasting glass and access to all the wines, ciders and craft brews.

6/9: KIRK FRANKLIN & Maverick City Music – KINGDOM TOUR
Where: PNC Music Pavilion

GRAMMY nominated, platinum-selling Maverick City Music and 16-time GRAMMY Award winning artist Kirk Franklin continue their Kingdom Tour through the Queen City ahead of their collaborative album release.

The tour features special guests Jonathan McReynolds and Housefires.

6/11: DRU HILL 
Where: QC Sound Stage 

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dru Hill as they perform their all-time hits. Aiyana-Lee will also grace the stage.

6/15: Coi Leray 
Where: Fillmore Charlotte 

The “No More Parties” artist will bring the party to Charlotte. B-Lovee will also be performing.

6/18: DaBaby & Friends
Where: QC Sound Stage

The Charlotte rapper returns home to perform hit songs like “SUGE” and “Bestie” in front of family , friends, and hometown fans. 

6/11: Legendz of the Streetz Tour 
Where: Spectrum Center

Hip-Hop icons Jeezy, Gucci Mane, 2Chainz, Trina, Rick Ross, T.I., Fabulous and Ja Rule will all grace the stage of the Spectrum Center for a once-in-a lifetime concert experience.

6/18: 2022 North Carolina Juneteeth Festival
Where: Cabarrus Arena & Events Center

The festival, themed “Educating, Empowering, Entertaining”, will feature 40 Black owned companies. Come enjoy crafts, performances, art, kids games, free giveaways and more.

6/22: PUSHA T 
Where: Fillmore Charlotte

The Grammy-nominated rapper continues his “It’s Almost Dry” tour through Charlotte. Be on the lookout for special guests to join him on stage.

6/23: H.E.R. CONCERT
Where: Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheater 

See the five-time Grammy nominated artist live in concert. 

6/24: BLACK EXCELLENCE GALA
Where: 1610 Alleghany St.

Celebration of Us is a soiree and nonprofit to uplift and promote Black excellence while curating a network of strong Black professionals.

6/26: Trap Bingo
Where: Fillmore Charlotte

The touring game makes its way to Charlotte for an afternoon of competitive action, prizes, and your favorite hip-hop tunes. Must be 21+. Brunch is also available with the purchase of a voucher (sold separately).

6/24- 26: CHARLOTTE CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL
Where: multiple locations (see website)

Celebrate Caribbean culture with a three-event filled days featuring art, music, food, fitness event, Queen Show pageant and more.

6/30: An evening with Monique and friends 
Where: Knight Theater

Enjoy an evening of laughs with the “Queen of Comedy” Mo’Nique as she will perform live.
