Charlotte is a city brimming with newcomers. By some estimates, about 120 people move here daily, making it one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities.

Meet Kendall Gregory. He moved to Charlotte from Orlando, Florida about seven months ago. He works in insurance sales and his hobbies are watching sports, both live and in person. He has attended some Charlotte Hornets and Panthers games.

We asked Kendall to tell us about himself

What brought you here?

My family was searching for a better climate and change of culture. I enjoy the change of seasons. Plus, the culture here is more to the liking of my family.

What do you like best about Charlotte?
There are lots of things to see and do and a much cooler climate.

What do you like least about Charlotte?
So far not much. I haven’t discovered that yet.

What’s been your most memorable moment since moving here?
Closing on our beautiful new home in the Steele Creek area.

How do you hope to get involved in the community?
Meeting more members of this community.

Please use the comment section to give Kendall a warm QCity welcome. What are your suggestions of places he needs to take the family and restaurants he needs to try? What are some good activities he can get involved with?
